NITROGEN FERTILIZATION IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF Brassica oleracea L.

چکیده

Leaf kale is a crop that widely consumed today due to the new ways of using it in cooking and its nutritional properties. However, has high requirement for nitrogen fertilization, so excessive application mineral fertilizers causes environmental impacts. Considering importance requirement, objective this work was evaluate effect organomineral fertilization on development cv. Butter. The treatments were distributed randomized blocks, 2x4 factorial scheme, referring two sources (urea cattle manure) four doses (0, 50, 100 150% dose 120 kg ha-1 ) with three replications during growing seasons. used urea bovine manure. Plant height, number leaves, leaf area, stem diameter, fresh dry mass shoots analyzed. positively influenced aerial part. Cultivation season 1 favored increase evaluated variables lower percentage used. Greater leaves achieved by (higher dose) 2.

Antigenotoxic Effects of Brassica oleracea L

The herbicide cilluron containing cyhalofop-butyl (10%) is an active ingredient. Cyhalofop-butyl has low oral, dermal and inhalation toxicity. In the present study the antigenotoxic effects of Brassica oleracea L. var. italica was evaluated using Allium cepa root chromosomal aberration assay against ciluron. Three types of treatments were given to roots in pre-treatment roots were first treated...

Chromosome Doubling of Microspore-Derived Plants from Cabbage (Brassica oleracea var. capitata L.) and Broccoli (Brassica oleracea var. italica L.)

Chromosome doubling of microspore-derived plants is an important factor in the practical application of microspore culture technology because breeding programs require a large number of genetically stable, homozygous doubled haploid plants with a high level of fertility. In the present paper, 29 populations of microspore-derived plantlets from cabbage (Brassica oleracea var. capitata) and brocc...

The role of BoFLC2 in cauliflower (Brassica oleracea var. botrytis L.) reproductive development

In agricultural species that are sexually propagated or whose marketable organ is a reproductive structure, management of the flowering process is critical. Inflorescence development in cauliflower is particularly complex, presenting unique challenges for those seeking to predict and manage flowering time. In this study, an integrated physiological and molecular approach was used to clarify the...

Gibberellin Control of Reproductive Transitions in Brassica oleracea Curd Development

Cauliflower (Brassica oleracea var. botrytis) and broccoli (B. oleracea var. italica) differ in the developmental stage of the reproductive meristem at harvest. A cauliflower head is formed by arrest at the inflorescence meristem stage and broccoli at the flower bud stage, and the horticultural value of the crop depends on synchronous development across the head. In other plant species, gibbere...
